An English-learning app that pairs every word with an image so you learn it from the picture, not a Japanese translation. Released in 2024. It is developed by English-teaching TikToker Jay Fujiwara (@jayeigo), and its ads and short videos pitch "English without thinking in Japanese."
Onboarding is about 45 screens, with questions asked in chat bubbles. Along the way users learn one word from a picture, take a vocabulary quiz that estimates their vocabulary size (about 2,900 words), and do a 3-minute speaking test talking to an AI about a photo. The results appear as a radar chart and a learning-roadmap graph before the paywall.
Two plans, 12 months and 3 months, with 12 months selected by default. A "50% discount applied" code and a 10-minute countdown are attached. Closing it brings up a "leaving your 50% off behind?" retention prompt, followed by a "try it for free" screen and a second paywall with yearly and monthly plans plus a toggle to add a 1-week free trial.
