Clucky
A recently viral alarm app. Apparently inspired by Duolingo, it has excellent UI/UX. The chicken character is adorable.
UX Highlights
You can see that the app is very particular about UI/UX in various ways, such as waking up the chicken character at the beginning, setting the alarm time, cracking the egg to pull out commits, and the chicken flying to reach the paywall.
Monetization
Offers two options — an annual plan with a 1-week free trial or a weekly plan — with the annual plan selected by default. It guides users to the trial step by step ("Try Clucky free for 1 week" → "We'll remind you 2 days before it ends"), and the paywall appears after an animation of the chicken flying in.
