An app where you compete with friends on driving distance during road trips. It's unique in combining driving with social features. The viral appeal comes from a 3D map feature that displays your driving in real-time, which became a hit on short-form videos and drove rapid growth.
UX Highlights
The onboarding doesn't have too many screens. There are no unnecessary questions, and it only asks for settings needed to use the app, such as car configuration. You can't proceed to the next step of onboarding unless you enable location tracking and notification permissions, which are necessary to use the app.
Monetization
The paywall is simple. There's a 7-day trial, an annual plan, a monthly plan, and a weekly plan.
